How do I create a Repair using an AppleCare+ incident?

Adding Parts to the Order Creating a Carry-in Repair using an AppleCare+ Incident

Adding Parts to the Order

  1. From the Device section of the Order, click the View Parts button.


     
  2. GSX will fetch a list of Parts associated with the Device attached to the Order. 



     
  3. Search using the Filter Results field.



     
  4. Fixably will sort the list based on your criteria. Add the Part to the Order by clicking on the Part Number.



     
  5. Click Bring to Order.



     
  6. Select the appropriate Stock.



     
  7. Select Warranty for the Price Type.



     
  8. Select the Symptom for the Part you are adding to the Order.


     
  9. Based on the Symptom you select, Fixably will fetch a list of Issues. Select the most appropriate option from the list. 


     
  10. Select the Reproducibility of the Issue. 



     
  11. Select whether the Part being used comes from Consignment Stock.



     
  12. Under Coverage select AppleCare+ Covered Incident.



     
  13. If applicable, specify a KGB Mismatch Reason Code.



     
  14. If Applicable, you can mark a Part as DOA or Stock DOA using the Return Status Codefield. 


     
  15. When complete, click Bring to Order.



     
  16. The Part will be visible under Products and Services with the Price, Coverage and Symptom Codes you entered earlier.

 

 

Creating a Carry-in Repair using an AppleCare+ Incident

  1. From the Device section of the Order, click the Gear menu.
     


     
  2. From the list, select Carry-In.



     
  3. Under the Summary tab, the Coverage, Symptom, Issue and Reproducibility you selected when adding the Part to the Order will be automatically entered for you. 



     
  4. Select the Repair Classification.



     
  5. Depending on the Parts you have added to the Order, Fixably will automatically fetch the correct AppleCare+ Incident Fee.


     
  6. Under the Repair tab, any Issue or Diagnosis type Notes will be filled out automatically. 


     
  7. Confirm the Technician and Ship-To are correct.



     
  8. Under the Details tab, you can add Attachments, Consumer Law Documents, Request Review, and adjust your Unit Received Date/Time.



     
  9. Under the Customer Details tab, the Customer Name, Phone Number, Email, Addressand other information will be automatically filled out using the information on the Order.


     
  10. When you are ready to create the repair, click Create Carry-In Repair.



     
  11. A dialogue will appear indicating Fixably created the GSX Repair successfully. 



     
  12. The GSX Dispatch ID will be listed in the Repair Number field.



     
  13. Under Products and Services, the Part and AppleCare+ Service Fee will be listed.
