Using Roles & Permissions in Fixably
This article is a step-by-step guide to setting up Fixably's Roles & Permissions feature

Availability
Roles & Permissions is available for the following Fixably Plan levels:
- Enterprise
- Premium
- Performance (Legacy Plan)

Enabling Roles & Permissions
- Using an Admin account, click on your User Name Menu > System Settings.
- From the sidebar, select Security and then General.
- Click the Enable Roles & Permissions checkbox.
- A new option will be visible under the Security settings. Click on Roles & Permissions.
- You will see a list of previously created Roles. When Roles & Permissions is first enabled, two Role types are created:
- User - Employee accounts without any additional Roles will be assigned this profile. This is a comparable access level to what an Employee User had previously.
- Full Access - All Options enabled, but not a full Admin User
Creating a New Role
- Click the Create Role button.
- Fill in the Name and Description of the new Role.
- There are three global settings that each Role can be assigned:
- Hide Product Prices - hides all pricing from all modules in Fixably.
- Hide Customer information - hides all customer information from all modules in Fixably.
- Locked to Default Location and Store - User cannot change their default location/store setup.
- Assign Permissions to the Role as required
- When complete, remember to click the Save button at the bottom.

Editing a Role
- From Roles & Permissions, click on the Gear menu beside the Role you want to Edit.
- Modify any settings as required.
- When complete, remember to click the Save button at the bottom.

Tips and Tricks
- If you want to create a New Role that's similar to an existing one, you can accomplish this by using the Create new based on this role button.
- When used, a new role will be created with the same settings as the duplicated role. You can then give it a new name and description before altering any required permissions.
