How do I use Apple Service Toolkit Diagnostics in Fixably?
This article explains how Apple Authorized Service Providers can use the Apple Service Toolkit (AST) diagnostic suite to triage and verify repairs of Apple devices.
- A technician can launch Apple Service Toolkit from the device section of an Order by clicking on the Gear and selecting Apple Service Toolkit.
- Technicians can launch Non-interactive tests (for example, Mac Resource Inspector, Cooling System, Audio, and others) directly within Fixably. You can quickly access Interactive tests (for example, multi-touch diagnostic or keyboard diagnostic) by clicking Open Diagnostic Console.
- Fixably provides easy access to previous diagnostic history. In the device information section of an Order, click on the Gear menu and then select View Diagnostics.
