Table of Contents
New Features:
- GSX Integration:
- GSX API Version 8 has been released to production.
- Each tenant will be automatically migrated to V8 over the coming days.
- Improved Backordered Parts Visibility:
- When Apple is out of stock for a certain part, they add an “Apple Recovery ETA” note. These notes were only surfaced when a User opens the GSX repair form, making it easy to miss this important notice.
- New functionality has been added to display these messages in the Order View automatically.
- A new "Apple Alerts" row appears in the repair section of the order's right-hand panel, in the same style as the existing repair information rows.
- When an Apple Recovery ETA note has been received, the Apple Alerts row reads "Part Backordered".
- A second row appears alongside it showing the date Apple last updated us and the expected ship date, including the affected part number.
- An internal note is also added to the order containing the full text of Apple's message and the date and time Apple added it.
- This note triggers a notification for the technician handling the Order.
- GSX API Version 8 has been released to production.
- Single Sign-On with any OpenID Connect (OIDC) provider:
- Your team can now sign in to Fixably with the company identity provider they already use. Fixably works with any OpenID Connect provider, including Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Auth0, Keycloak and Google.
- Key details:
- Easy to connect: You only need three values from your identity provider: the Issuer URL, Client ID and Client Secret. Fixably finds the rest of the connection details on its own.
- Sign-in button: Once the provider is enabled, the login page shows a Sign in with {Provider Name} button, using the name you give the provider.
- Just-in-Time Provisioning (optional): When this is on, Fixably creates an account for a user the first time they sign in, matched by email address. When it's off, only users who already have a Fixably account can use SSO.
- Fixably requires the identity provider to send a verified email address. You can choose the ID Token Signing Algorithm to match your provider's setup.
- You can set up more than one OIDC provider, but only one login method can be active. Enabling an OIDC provider turns off any other third-party login, such as Azure AD or Google.
- Only administrators can manage SSO providers. Third-party authentication must also be enabled on the account.
- If you don't see the OpenID Connect Providers section, contact Fixably Support.
- Order notes that need acknowledgement:
- When you add a note to an order, you can now mark it as one that someone must confirm they've read. Until then, the note pops up for everyone who opens the order and stays pinned at the top of the timeline with an Acknowledge button.
- When one person acknowledges it, it's cleared for the whole team, and the timeline shows who acknowledged it and when.
- Marking notes this way uses a new permission that's on by default. Anyone who can see order notes can acknowledge them.
- Booking App:
- The booking app has been updated so appointments can be offered by Stores
- Previously, this was limited only to servicing locations.

- Roles & Permissions:
- Fixed an issue where purchase prices on GSX parts stayed visible for roles with the “Hide product prices” setting enabled.

- Fixed an issue where the booking portal offers time slots that Apple GSX no longer has available.
- SSO:
- Fixed an issue where every Microsoft SSO sign-in raises an "Undefined property” error.
- Fixed an issue where a third-party sign-in provider could be switched on with empty credentials.
- System Settings:
- Fixed an issue where unsaved System Settings changes were lost without a warning when leaving through the user menu or the Fixably logo.
- Macros:
- Fixed an issue where the loaner check-out macro step stopped the macro when the order has no loaner.
- Signature App:
- Fixed an issue where a signature request rejected by a busy terminal gave no usable reason and had no way to clear it.
- Cost Estimates:
- Fixed an issue where only the DISCOUNT product code could be manually added to a cost estimate with a negative value.
- Printouts:
- Fixed an issue where hidden order notes still printed on invoices, receipts and other printouts.
- GSPN Integration:
- Fixed the issue where the daily GSPN code fetch does not save new IRIS codes.
